Coriolus Versicolor is known as Yun zhi in China and Kawaratake in Japan. In the U.S., it is also known as the Turkey Tail mushroom and by its scientific name, Trametes Versicolor. Coriolus Versicolor is likely the most common shelf fungus in the world. Polysaccharide K (PSK) and protein-bound polysaccharide (PSP) are components of this mushroom that may be a good treatment for certain types of cancer. PSK and PSP may also help reduce chemotherapy side effects and stimulate the immune system.
